MINI Protect
MINI Protect is optional. To be eligible for MINI Protect at the start date of your agreement you must be first named party to your agreement, over 18 and will not have reached the age of 65 (or 70 if Life cover only is required) by the end of the agreement, in employment or self-employed and a UK resident. If you opt for Life cover or Life and Critical Illness cover you are not required to be in employment or self-employed. If you suffer from a medical condition at the start date of the term of cover, this may affect your ability to claim under the Life, Accident and Sickness and Critical Illness cover sections of the policies. If you are self-employed, working on a fixed term contract or you or a member of your family is a director or shareholder of your employer’s business, certain restrictions will apply to the Unemployment cover section. It is, therefore, particularly important that you consider the full policy terms to see whether the remaining cover meets your needs.
The information given on this website is a brief outline of the detailed policy terms which are available upon request. A policy document will be sent to you once you have been accepted for cover. It is important that you read this carefully. You are entitled to cancel cover within 30 days of the start date and receive a full refund of any premium paid, provided you have not made a claim.
